Accounts Payable Specialist
At Reds Electrical Service Inc, we deliver exceptional electrical services grounded in respect, integrity, and excellence, building lasting relationships with our customers, partners, and team through trust, collaboration, and accountability. We are a large scale industrial electrical contractor with projects located across the United States. We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized and proactive individual to join our accounting team.
This position typically works 8 hours per day/5 days per week in our Whitesboro office.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Expense reimbursement process
- Reviewing, seeking clarification on, and routing expense reports for approval
- Reconciling expenditures from bank account and reaching out to employees for any missing expense reports
- Accounts Payable
- Processing toll charges related to company vehicles
- Processing vendor payments
- Auditing/reconciling vendor balances
- Onboarding new vendors and maintaining vendor portal information
- Reporting fixed asset purchases to Accounting
- Generating AP reports
- Auditing insurance for company owned vehicles
- Administrative support
- Monitoring the internal AP email account
- Mail packages and mail when necessary
- Update and issue corporate cards
- Subcontractor process
- Capturing required insurance from subcontractor
- Collecting W9s
- Generating 1099s
Qualifications
- Accounting or office experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- High level of follow-through
- Strong attention to detail
- Proactive approach to customer service
Work Environment
- In-office work required
- Fast-paced construction environment
- Interaction with internal office staff, superintendents, and project managers
