Accounting Lead- Accounts Receivable (AR)

As the AR accountant, you will be responsible for a host of challenging and intricate tasks in coordination with our finance and accounting team (CFO, controller, financial analyst, AP, etc.). To succeed in this role you will need a balance or accounting knowledge and customer service. This role interacts with our communities across the country to ensure proper protocol is followed and all questions are answered appropriately.
Some duties or responsibilities may include:
- Administration of deposits (coding, entering into CRM, auditing, journal entries, etc)
- AR Reporting and coordinate collections with communities
- Vitals (our CRM) management and support
- Various other reporting (payments without deposit, rent roll, rent rate and market rate increases, move-outs, etc)
- Bonus payment for certain associates

Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in corporate accounting, process improvement, reporting and/or developing standards
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required
- This position is located in Wichita, KS and is not open to remote work or relocation
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
