Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our client on a temp-to-hire, full-time basis. This fully onsite role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent service. As the first point of contact, you'll play a key role in supporting clients and ensuring a positive overall experience.

Position Details

  • Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
  • Hours: Monday – Friday, 8AM-5PM
  • Pay Rate: $22.00 – $ 23.00/hour
  • Work Environment: Fully onsite

Required Qualifications

  • Prior customer service experience in a manufacturing or distribution-industry environment
  • Prior experience with ERP/MRP systems, intermediate Excel and Outlook skills
  • High-energy, strong sense of urgency
  • Experience in high volume environments
  • Providing one-call resolution and problem solving to ensure customer satisfaction

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing customer service in-person, via phone or email
  • Receiving and processing shipments, entering shipment and order information into ERP system
  • Performing customer order entry, including assisting clients with price quotes
  • Answering incoming phone calls and emails from customers and manage order requests
  • Assisting clients in order selection as needed, including providing product specifications
  • Addressing customer concerns, related to product or shipment discrepancies
  • Processing customer returns or exchanges as needed
