Job Description

The Tumbler Operator is responsible for deburring and finishing micro components to meet strict workmanship and quality standards. This role involves operating cleaning and tumbling equipment, performing detailed inspections under magnification, and ensuring all parts meet customer and company specifications. Schedule & Pay: Pay Rate: $16.00/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Location: 80921 zip code (Colorado Springs area) Assignment Length: Temporary, 3-month assignment Key Responsibilities: Follow work order instructions and routing sheets to meet production and quality requirements Operate tumbling and sonic cleaning equipment to process micro components Perform microscopic inspections to verify product quality and adherence to specifications Accurately record production quantities using standard company systems Maintain consistent performance levels and meet production goals Complete electronic and paper documentation with speed and accuracy Support team operations and perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred Minimum 1 year of deburring or micro-component finishing experience preferred Experience working in a manufacturing or precision environment is a plus Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications Experience using microscopes and precision measurement tools Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment Manual dexterity and ability to handle small components Physical Requirements: Frequently lift and/or move items up to 25 lbs Regular use of hands for handling small parts and operating equipment Ability to stand for extended periods Occasional walking, sitting, bending, stooping, and squatting Ability to use a computer, keyboard, and mouse for data entry Work Environment: Manufacturing setting with a noise level ranging from quiet to moderate Hearing protection may be required in designated areas Combination of standing, walking, and sitting throughout the shift Physical Activity Breakdown: Standing: 50% Walking: 25% Sitting: 25% Finger manipulation: 75% Reaching/Grabbing: 25% Stooping/Bending: 5% Lifting: 5%
