Tax Manager
We are seeking a Tax Manager to for our growing client. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day engagement execution, supervising staff, and ensuring high-quality delivery on a range of personal tax assignments. The Tax Manager is positioned to take on increasing responsibility, manage a greater volume and complexity of engagements, and begin developing direct client relationships.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, organized, collaborative, and eager to grow into a broader leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day progress of tax engagements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables.
- Supervise, coach, and review work performed by staff and senior team members.
- Support the execution of increasingly complex personal tax assignments.
- Assist in building and maintaining client relationships as responsibilities expand.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative tax research and present findings clearly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure effective workflow, communication, and problem-solving.
- Contribute to practice development and general business development initiatives.
Qualifications
- CPA preferred but not required.
- 5–7 years of relevant tax experience; advanced degree preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and comfort with basic operating systems.
