Seasonal Shuttle Driver

Safely operates a large shuttle bus to transport guests and staff between resort locations, parking areas, and trail access points on mountain roads. Delivers friendly customer service, assists with bike loading, handles fare collection and pass verification, and ensures timely operations in varying weather conditions. Responsible for vehicle inspections, accurate trip reporting, and compliance with traffic laws. Requires a valid Class C license with passenger endorsement, current DOT physical, clean driving record, and availability to work weekends and holidays through Labor Day.

Employment Status: Full Time or Part Time Seasonal

Wage Range: $17.00 to $20.00

Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate shuttle buses to transport guests and employees between resort locations, parking areas, and trail access points on mountain roads.
  • Provide friendly, professional customer service by assisting passengers, answering questions, verifying passes, and collecting fares.
  • Load and unload mountain bikes and assist passengers as needed to ensure safe boarding and unloading.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules while adjusting operations for weather, traffic, or road conditions.
  • Maintain accurate trip logs, fuel records, and incident reports, and communicate effectively with dispatch or management.
  • Comply with all federal and state traffic laws, including installing tire chains when required in snowy or icy conditions.

Specific Job Skills:

License/Certifications- CDL with passenger endorsement driver's license

Technical- Cash handling and potential for using a point of sale computer or reservation system.

Physical Capabilities- Able to lift at least 60lbs and able to walk on uneven terrain. Must be able to speak clearly over two-way radios

Additional- Pass CDL physical and DOT Drug screen

Education/Related Experience:

Minimum education required-English reading and writing, with basic math skills

Minimum time in related position- 6 months guest service experience, guest facing driving experience and knowledge of the mountain and resort is preferred.
