Position Summary
We are seeking a tech-savvy and highly organized Dispatcher to coordinate and schedule mechanics for service calls. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative experience who can communicate professionally with business owners while handling a high-volume, call center-style environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch mechanics based on job priority, location, and availability
- Communicate clearly and confidently with customers and technicians
- Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls daily
- Monitor job progress and make real-time adjustments as needed
- Maintain accurate records, work orders, and scheduling updates
- Provide timely updates to customers and resolve scheduling issues
- Support overall operations with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Strong administrative background required
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with business owners
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, call center environment
- Thick skin and professionalism when dealing with direct or challenging customer personalities
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
