Bookkeeper Position
We are seeking a bookkeeper to manage both business and personal financial accounts with accuracy, discretion, and integrity. This role requires a high level of trust, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain strict separation between personal and business finances.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records for business and personal accounts
- Record daily transactions and reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Track expenses, budgets, and cash flow
- Organize records for tax preparation and coordinate with CPAs
- Pay authorized personal and business bills
- Identify discrepancies and report issues promptly
- Always maintain confidentiality and audit-ready records
Qualifications
- Proven bookkeeping experience
- Bonded (or willing and able to obtain bonding)
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
- High level of integrity, discretion, and reliability
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or coursework in Accounting or Finance
- Experience handling both personal and business finances
- Experience working with CPAs and tax professionals
