Now Hiring: Materials Handler / Forklift Operator

Location: Woodland, WA
Company: Adecco (on behalf of a leading manufacturing client)
Pay: Starting at $18.50+/hour DOE
Schedule: Multiple shifts available (must be flexible)
Position Overview

Adecco is seeking reliable and experienced Materials Handlers / Forklift Operators to support warehouse and production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is essential in keeping materials moving efficiently, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring safe and timely shipments.
Key Responsibilities

  • Load and unload trucks and vans safely and efficiently
  • Move palletized goods throughout the facility using sit down forklifts
  • Supply production lines with materials and return unused materials to inventory
  • Stack and organize goods in designated storage areas following inventory procedures
  • Perform daily forklift and equipment safety checks
  • Remove waste materials from production areas
  • Verify product quality and ensure shipments meet standards
  • Prepare outbound shipments, match products to Bills of Lading, and ensure proper labeling
  • Track and record inventory movements using RF scanners and ERP systems
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 6 months of forklift experience (roll grab and box clamp experience a plus)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work any shift as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic math, reading, and computer skills
  • Experience using RF scanners and ERP systems preferred
  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a fast-paced environment

Additional Duties

Operations Support

  • Receive and inspect incoming supplies for damage or defects
  • Stage materials for production use
  • Remove and store finished goods and unused materials

Shipping

  • Prepare orders for shipment and verify accuracy against documentation
  • Ensure proper labeling, pallet counts, and product quality
  • Load outbound shipments and obtain signed Bills of Lading
  • Communicate issues or discrepancies to supervision

Inventory

  • Track and maintain accurate locations of finished goods and supplies
  • Log all inventory movements in the ERP system
  • Verify load accuracy against system records

Pay Details: $18.50 to $20.00 per month
