Operate a van or box truck (GVW 10,000 - 26,000 lbs) to deliver product to accounts on daily routes and establish positive relationship with our retail customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Verifies truck inventory.
  • Deliver and unload products at customer site. Approx. 25 deliveries per day.
  • Verify customer ABC license is valid when making delivery.
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers.
  • Verify each customer invoice and payment is correct at the retail account.
  • Responsible for printing invoices, collecting payment as needed.
  • Perform pre-post trip inspections of vehicle.
  • Must operate the truck safely and within company, federal and state guidelines.
  • Must report any problems, maintenance issues with the delivery vehicle to Operation Supervisor or Fleet Manager.
  • Other duties as requested or assigned by management.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a DOT medical certification.
  • Prior delivery experience, route based delivery preferred.
  • B2B Customer service experience preferred.
  • Must have clean driving record acceptable to Company insurance carrier.
  • HS Diploma or GED equivelent
  • Comply with company policies, procedures and applicable state and federal laws.
  • Must be able to operate handheld computer (iPad) and printer.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, climb, squat, bend and twist.
  • Must be able to do repetitive lifting of 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 lbs.
