Role Overview
Assemblers contribute to continuous improvement by performing general, electronic, and mechanical assembly per drawings, schematics, visual aids, and written or verbal instructions. Responsibilities include production assembly, PCB loading, soldering to IPC standards, handling inert and energetic materials, and precision microscope work, with adherence to ESD and explosivearea safety protocols. Team members maintain required certifications and attend ongoing training.
Primary Responsibilities for Mechanical Assemblers Include:
General Assembly
• Perform production assembly on components and subassemblies
• Use visual aids, drawings, schematics, and instructions to assemble, modify, rework, or reassemble units
• Receive detailed instructions for new tasks and assignments
• Attend offsite training to maintain necessary certifications
• Participate in continuous improvement activities
Electronic Assembly
• Handload PCB assemblies using schematics and visual aids
• Identify electronic component values and follow IPCA610 standards
• Solder electronic components, including finepitch work
• Perform microscopebased soldering and anomaly repair
• Maintain current IPC JSTD and IPCA610 certifications
• Apply ESD prevention practices consistently
Mechanical Assembly
• Weigh and press inert and energetic materials
• Set up and operate analytical balances and powderpress equipment
• Conduct inert assembly operations
• Perform cabling, potting, tinning, and basic soldering tasks
• Install subassemblies and conduct minor equipment setups
• Lift up to 50 lbs. and work safely within explosive handling environments
Requirements:
Education
• High School Diploma or GED required
Experience
• 1-2 years of handson assembly or manufacturing experience required
Skills
• Ability to read and follow written instructions, drawings, and schematics
• Strong mechanical aptitude, dexterity, and fine motor skills
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
• Ability to plan, execute, and complete tasks independently
• Proficient with hand tools; accurate use of calipers; soldering preferred
• Comfortable working in highprecision and explosivehandling environments, following strict safety guidelines
• Selfstarter with strong followthrough
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Use of fine motor skills for precision tasks
New Available Schedules:
• Friday-Sunday, 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM or Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Opportunities for overtime vary per shift

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
