New role in the accounting department. HOATC is seeking a part-time employee to assist with Medical Payment Posting & Accounts Payable. Reports directly to CFO. Ideal candidate will be available onsite for 25-30 hours per week between the hours of 9AM & 3PM M-F.

Qualifications

  • Excel Experience Required
  • Medical Payment Posting Experience Preferred
  • Accounts Payable Processing Experience Preferred
  • 2-3 years of Bookkeeping Experience Preferred
  • AA in Business or comparable 3-5 years of work experience Preferred
  • QuickBooks Experience Preferred

Payment Posting Functions

  • Assist the Practice's payment posters with weekly processing of payments
  • Responsible for Verifying & Processing Patient Refunds
  • Record, Analyze & Reconcile Unapplied Payments

AP Job Functions

  • Gather Accounts Payable Invoices for submittal to Management Company
  • Gather & Process AP Invoices paid directly by the Practice
  • Maintain AP Electronic Storage Files
  • Review Vendor Monthly Statements
  • Research Past Due Notices with Management Company

Accounting Functions

  • Download Daily Deposit Report from Banks' Online Portal
  • Monthly Bank Reconciliations
  • Filing of Confidential Information

Pay Range: $20 - $25/hour depending on experience
