Description
The Shipping / Receiving Clerk is responsible for tracking loads, receiving and entry of material into the computer once it is unloaded and creating accurate shipments to the end customer. In addition to Shipping/Receiving, this individual will play a key role in scheduling, load planning and inventory record accuracy. Daily tasks also include movement of material through the warehouse with the use of a counterbalance forklift and overhead crane. Communication with shippers and customers will require the use of email and some basic computer knowledge. The Shipping/Receiving Clerk will maintain a safe and clean work area by ensuring they clean their area as needed.
Primary Job Duties:
- Processes all inbound and outbound receipts in both G&D system and the customer system.
- Conducts audits of inventory monthly to insure inventory record accuracy.
- Moves material to various locations within the warehouse.
- Resolves shipment discrepancies with customers.
- Utilizes overhead crane operation.
- Operates (become certified for) a counter balance forklift.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Experience and Education:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of two years' experience in third-party logistics (3PL) environment.
- Previous experience operating a counter balance forklift. Completion of forklift certification training is required upon hire.

- Location: 401 Carver Lane, East Peoria, IL 61611
- Shift: 1st Shift 7 AM to 3:30 PM
- Pay Range: $16 - $17/ hour DOE
