Mailroom Associate

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a Part-Time Mailroom Associate on a long term basis for our Columbus, OH location. This position is part time with an expectation of a long-term commitment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the efficient operation of the company's mail room and providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Mails printed invoice copies to customers daily
• Mails printed statement copies to customers monthly
• Assists with processing sales representative mailings
• Assist with tracking the amount of postage used daily.
• Assists with tracking department label stock, ribbons, envelops, and laminate
• Back up making post office runs.
• Responds same-day to all voicemails, emails, and Teams messages received within working hours
• Performs other duties as assigned by the department leadership

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
• The ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• The ability to stand on concrete for up to 3 hours at a time, climb stairs, and walk up to 1000 yards in the Distribution Center at a time
• The ability to read and write small letters and numbers; the ability to make arithmetic calculations; and the ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
• Must have reliable transportation to support mailroom duties, including backing up post office runs.
• The successful completion of a ninety (90) day orientation period
• Prefer a candidate that is wanting part time hours on a long term, ongoing basis

Additional Information

Monday-Friday on-site role. Can choose either 10:00am-2:00pm or 12:00pm-4pm shift

** 20 hours per week ( on a long term, ongoing basis is preferred)
