By joining our District 9, Administration Section as an Administrative Specialist in Fleming County, you willhave the opportunity to provide administrative support in the delivery of various fiscal and administrativefunctions. Prepare and process various financial transactions and be responsible for processing procurementcard documents.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional administrative support in the fiscal and administrative functions.
  • Execute procurement card documents and ensure payment to issuing bank is on time utilizing the eMARSProgram.
  • Reviews, evaluates, audits and monitors purchasing documents to ensure compliance, within budgetarylimits and agency standards.
  • Reviews, reconciles, and compiles reports for compliance with state and agency policies and regulations.
  • Create and process various financial transactions.

Ideal candidate will have experience in:

  • Five years of accounting background, financial reporting and budgetary.
  • Strong communication skills and able to multi-task.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer skills.
  • Attention to detail, problem solving and excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Minimum Requirements

EDUCATION:Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS:One year of professional, administrative, or business experience.

Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE:Additional education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION:Additional administrative, business, research, and/or clerical experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Probationary Period
