Underground Haul Truck Driver

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking an Underground Haul Truck Driver based out of our Lake Lynn Quarry supports positive safety culture in an aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards in our East Region. This role is responsible for working with a team to produce natural aggregates in a mining environment. Working in an underground setting hauling loads of stone to the primary crusher.

Day to Day

  • Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures, and applicable government regulations.
  • Maintain mobile equipment according to company standards.
  • Be involved with maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
  • Pre-shift equipment for safety defects and report them to a supervisor.
  • Operate a 775,777 Cat haul trucks. Operate 465,605 Komatsu haul trucks.
  • Learn how to run other various underground equipment. Such As Loaders, Haul Trucks, Scalers and Bolters.

About You

  • Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
  • Positive, team-based attitude
  • The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
  • The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

Working Conditions

While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.
