Position Summary

The Receptionist for the Healing Arts Department provides a warm, welcoming environment and creates positive first impressions for guests. This role supports daily operations through administrative responsibilities and dispensary support, ensuring a seamless and high-quality guest experience.

Schedule Requirements
  • Must be available to work evening and weekend shifts
  • Position requires a minimum commitment of 18+ hours per week
Accountabilities
  • Check in guests for services, including scheduling, modifying, and canceling appointments
  • Open and close the department daily in accordance with standard operating procedures
  • Support linen room maintenance and dispensary operations, ensuring product availability for all services
  • Respond to therapists' written requests related to facility and product needs
  • Work closely with therapists to ensure smooth appointment flow and a positive guest experience
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of all Healing Arts modalities and effectively communicate offerings to guests
  • Maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked, and organized work environment
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, team members, supervisors, and therapists regarding any relevant occurrences or needs
  • Build effective relationships with guests by understanding expectations, addressing concerns, and offering practical solutions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Minimal Qualifications

-1-3 years customer service or related experience

-Associates degree OR equivalent experience including training in Microsoft programs

-Basic math and money/POS skills

-Ability to work independently while being a team player

-Prior experience with ResortSuite software a plus

Essential Physical Requirements

-Prolonged periods (at least two consecutive hours) of standing/walking around the department -Frequent use of computers and handheld electronic equipment. -Reaching, including above eye level, crouching, kneeling, stooping -This position requires lifting, standing, reaching with arms and hands, stooping, kneeling, and crouching. -Lifting and moving items weighing up to 35 lbs.
