We are currently hiring Mixing Operator/Production Operator for a premier facility in Edwardsville,KS. Step into a hands-on position where you will gain valuable skills, work with specialized technology, and be part of a team that recognizes and rewards your efforts.

salary: $19 - $21.5 per hour
shift: Second
work hours: 3 PM - 11:30 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

  • Batch Preparation: Weigh raw materials (pigments, resins, and solvents) with precision according to specific formulas and batch tickets.
  • Formula Execution: Add ingredients in the exact "order of addition" using manual or automated systems.
  • Quality Tracking: Maintain detailed records of lot numbers and material weights to ensure full traceability.
  • Equipment Operation: Run high-speed mixers and Hockmeyer mills to properly disperse pigments into liquids.
  • Process Monitoring: Adjust machine settings to ensure consistent ink viscosity and color while maximizing equipment efficiency (OEE).
  • Discharge & Filtration: Safely manage the "press out" process and operate pump filter equipment to finalize batches.

The essential functions of this role include:
