Racquet Sports Instructor

Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness, managed by HealthFitness, is looking for a Racquet Sports Instructor to join the recreation team at our state-of-the-art facility in Bentonville, Arkansas.

This is an on-call/substitute position working on an as needed basis when regular staff members are unable to work.

Professionally design and teach high quality individual/group racquet lessons to children and/or adults of varying abilities while providing a fun, engaging playing environment that addresses the skill level of the students. Minor court/ equipment maintenance, preparation/breakdown of equipment for events.

Key accountabilities include:

• Design and teach individual and group racquet lessons.
• Provide minor court/ equipment maintenance, preparation/breakdown of badminton equipment for events.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements include:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1+ years racquet sports teaching experience with children and/or adults required.
• Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, American Safety & Health Institute or National Safety Council required.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Start/complete lessons in a timely manner.
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and tools.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands, meet deadlines, and collaborate with all business units.
• Ensure students/players adhere to HF safety guidelines and demonstrate good sportsmanship.

Compensation: $15 - $46/class. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
