O2 Employment Services is working with a reputable local law firm to find their next Bookkeeper / General Manager. This position is based in Chico, CA.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing both financial operations and day-to-day office functions. They will be proactive, dependable, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced professional environment.
Bookkeeper / General Manager Compensation:
• $23 - $32 per hour (DOE)

Bookkeeper / General Manager Qualifications:
• Previous experience in bookkeeping and/or office management required
• Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, and/or TimeSlips strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (AP/AR, reconciliations, payroll support)
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of professionalism and discretion with confidential financial and legal information
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and general office software
• Experience working in a legal or professional services environment is a plus
Bookkeeper / General Manager Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist with reporting as needed
• Oversee billing processes, including tracking billable hours and supporting timekeeping systems (e.g., TimeSlips)
• Assist with payroll processing and coordination with external providers
• Support general office operations, including vendor coordination and office management tasks
• Maintain organized records, files, and documentation
• Collaborate with leadership to improve processes and operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures
