Uta Halee Academy (UHA) is a female-specific, residential program that offers young women opportunities to build productive and meaningful futures for themselves and their communities. Through rigorous education, positive skill development, and individualized therapeutic interventions and treatment, we empower youth to reach their full potential. The facility features residential student dormitories, on-site schooling, a dining hall, and extracurricular opportunities for the students. Pay: Starting at $19.00/hour, depending on experience and certifications.

What you will do: As a Medical Assistant, you'll serve as an assistant to the Student Health Services Department, such as coordinating the flow of students to be seen by the health care professionals within the program and scheduling students to be seen by outside health care professionals. This position requires transporting students in our company vehicles to their medical appointments.

To be considered, you should: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent ~Certification for Medical Assistant or Nurses Assistant required (EMT, CNA or other acceptable medical-related certifications are acceptable) ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

Schedule: Wednesday - Friday from 6:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. with a 1-hour break and Saturday from 3-10 p.m.
