Production Planning / Scheduling Supervisor (Epicor Required)

Location: Richmond, CA 94804
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (On-site, 5 days/week)
Salary: $70,000/Year

Epicor experience is REQUIRED - candidates without Epicor experience will not be considered.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Production Planning / Scheduling Supervisor to manage and oversee production scheduling and execution to ensure on-time delivery, cost control, and operational efficiency. This role reports directly to the Plant Manager and plays a critical part in coordinating materials, equipment, and personnel to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Epicor ERP management (REQUIRED) - Job management within Epicor / ALS enterprise resource planning system
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate production activities to meet company deadlines
  • Ensure materials, equipment, and labor are available for production
  • Supervise and guide production staff (Blenders)
  • Monitor production costs and ensure operations stay within budget
  • Track and report production status and issues to management
  • Handle production disruptions and troubleshoot productivity issues
  • Manage truck shipments, job receipts to inventory, and inventory consumption
  • Proof jobs and ensure accuracy of production documentation
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce costs
  • Follow all company personnel, safety, and cleanliness policies and procedures

Performance Measurements

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • On-time production and order fulfillment
  • Minimizing production costs while maximizing efficiency
  • Effective production scheduling with minimal product considerations
  • Accurate reporting and resolution of blend failures
  • Successful supervision and leadership of direct reports
  • Continuous improvement in productivity and operational outcomes

Key Deliverables

  • Set and maintain minimum production run standards
  • Zero non-conformities
  • Execute production runs to minimize costs
  • Maintain strict compliance with safety and cleanliness policies

Required Qualifications

  • Epicor ERP experience - REQUIRED (non-negotiable)
  • Production planning and scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Supervisory or lead experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work fully on-site, Monday-Friday
