Sanitation Worker

The Sanitation Worker is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in a facility by following proper sanitation procedures. This role includes cleaning equipment, work areas, and common spaces to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, machinery, equipment, and tools according to company standards.
  • Dispose of waste properly, including recycling, trash, and hazardous materials.
  • Follow cleaning schedules and ensure compliance with sanitation and safety protocols.
  • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect and maintain sanitation supplies and equipment.
  • Identify and report any maintenance or safety issues.
  • Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Previous experience in sanitation, janitorial, or cleaning roles preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments, including cold or hot conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, stand, and move for extended periods.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
