Custodian 2nd shift, PM, Location: Elementary School

Custodial PM Position Available

Second shift custodian position available at the Indian Creek Elementary School. Location: 301 West Cherokee Ave, Shabbona, IL 60550. Hours are 1:00pm - 9:30 pm, Monday - Friday and starting pay is $14/hr. ($17/hr plus $.50/hr for PM shift). (Summer hours, May - August, are flexible - 6 AM - 2:30 PM). Looking for a detail-oriented, responsible and self-motivated worker to fill this full-time position. Any light maintenance or tradework experience is a plus. Must be able to perform a variety of physical tasks including: emptying heavy garbage containers, mopping, sanitizing kitchen and restroom areas, vacuuming, dusting, loading/unloading various supplies, securing rooms and entrances/exits after hours, as well as a variety of other tasks. Illinois State Police Background Check required by law. Applicants must provide 3 references that can speak on behalf of work performance and employability (co-workers/management).
