Endoscopy Technician Per Diem

Job Summary: Inspects and functionally operates all Endoscopy equipment, electric power instruments and audiovisual equipment to insure optimum safety and performance. Prepares purchase requisitions and disposition of storeroom supplies. Is responsible for maintaining an adequate inventory, processing and maintenance of instruments, scopes and equipment. Processes associated paperwork and maintains records on all equipment. Assists the physician and nurse in the procedure rooms of the Endoscopy Suite under the direction of the Patient Care Director or designee.

Hours: 8a - 6p

Job Essentials: Minimum 2 years' experience in Endoscopy setting. Experience in endoscopic reprocessing and management of scopes; knowledgeable regarding infection control standards. Strong service excellence skills and must be a team player

Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical schooling preferred.

Licenses, Registrations & Certifications: SGNA and BLS Certification (AHA or ARC) preferred CEFR Certification within 2 years of hire date required

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources. Minimum rate: $24.00
