About Property: Deer Haven Campground, part of Cooperstown All Star Village, offers a family-friendly camping experience for guests visiting the area for youth baseball tournaments. The campground features RV sites, cabins, and amenities designed to provide a comfortable and convenient stay in a scenic outdoor setting. Position Summary: The Campground Office Attendant serves as the first point of contact for campground guests, providing information, assistance, and support to ensure a positive guest experience. This role requires strong customer service skills and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and provide a welcoming check-in experience
- Answer questions regarding campground amenities, policies, and local area information
- Manage reservations, check-ins, and check-outs using booking systems
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional manner
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment
- Communicate effectively with other departments to support guest needs
Qualifications: Required:
- Ability to work during the day or evening as determined by supervisor
- Required to work flexible schedule based on the needs of the business
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Positive and effective leadership and customer service skills
Preferred:
- Minimum must have High School Diploma/be currently attending a local high school/GED
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
Working Conditions / Special Physical Requirements:
- Must be available to work extended hours, including nights and weekends
- Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the campground as needed
- Must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds
- May work in varied temperatures, loud environments, and fast-paced conditions
