Inventory Control Admin I - Night Shift

Perform routine administrative tasks and inventory transactions related to purchasing, movement, manufacturing, and sales. Complete monthly outdoor physical inventory counts. Conduct routine quality control tests on chemical samples.

This position requires accuracy, adaptability to changing priorities, and work within a dynamic team environment, making it an exciting opportunity for detail-oriented professionals seeking a role in inventory and manufacturing. Night shift role, schedule is 2pm-11pm or 3pm-12am.

Essential functions include entering computer transactions associated with inventory purchasing, movement, manufacturing, and sales; preparing paperwork required for trucking and manufacturing; processing routine quality control testing on chemical samples; preparing and analyzing reports related to inventory transactions; performing monthly physical inventory counts outside for several hours in various weather conditions; communicating effectively with vendors, customers, and employees; responding quickly and efficiently to customer and employee requests; being precise, detail-oriented, and organized while processing multiple activities with rapidly changing priorities; data entry; following prescribed safety rules and regulations in performing assigned duties; specific attendance is required on the last day of every month to conduct inventory counts; demonstrating flexibility and ability to assist coworkers with duties as time permits.

Qualifications include a high school graduate or GED, an associate's degree or equivalent preferred, high organization, attention to detail, prior experience in a warehouse, inventory, or manufacturing environment preferred, willingness and ability to work overtime as necessary, and a valid driver's license.

Skills and abilities include computer skills with background in MS Office applications, customer service skills to meet internal and external commitments, a strong work ethic, and physical abilities to lift and carry 50 pounds and tip and move 55-gallon drums weighing up to 600 pounds.

Work environment includes 90% time in a controlled atmosphere within an office setting arranged in a warehouse and laboratory environment, and 10% time in a chemical manufacturing environment inside and outside of metal buildings. Employees must adhere to federal, state, and local laws, have fluency in reading, writing, and speaking in English, adhere to guidelines, policies, and procedures, and comply with Jacam Catalyst's drug and alcohol policy.
