AE011 – Full-Time Housekeeper – Manhattan/Hamptons/Travel

Housekeeper Position

A warm, welcoming family is seeking an experienced, professional Housekeeper to join their household team. This is a full-time, long-term position supporting a well-maintained home in New York, with regular travel to the Hamptons and occasional travel to Colorado. The ideal candidate is calm, detail-oriented, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and harmonious home environment.

Schedule:

• Tuesday–Saturday, approximately 10:30am–6:30pm
• Flexibility required to stay later during entertaining or special events
• Days off: Sunday and Monday

Immediate start preferred

Position involves travel between New York, the Hamptons, and occasional trips to Colorado

Responsibilities:

• Full-charge housekeeping including daily cleaning, deep cleaning, and organization
• Expert care of fine garments and household fabrics
• Maintaining overall household order and cleanliness to a high standard
• Grocery shopping and household provisioning
• Assisting in the kitchen as needed (light prep, organization, support)
• Supporting the household during hosting/entertaining (with flexibility to stay later as needed)
• Working collaboratively with other staff and contributing to a positive team environment

Qualifications:

• Calm, kind, and professional demeanor
• Confident self-starter with excellent common sense
• Team player with a flexible, "all hands-on deck" attitude
• Comfortable around dogs
• Fluent in English

Requirements:

• Prior experience working in a private home in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of fabric care and garment maintenance
• Meticulous organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Professional presentation and appropriately dressed at all times
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed

Salary and Benefits:

• $35–$45/hour DOE ($73-$94k a year)
• Ability to Live-In for right candidate
