Transfer Station Equipment Operator

The Transfer Station Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment at a transfer station for the purpose of transferring, spreading, covering, loading, and compacting waste.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Maintain a clean and organized work environment both inside and outside the facility

2. Daily plant responsibility to include proper use of lighting, dust control, and ventilation systems

3. Ensure that commodities are loaded, transported, and stored in an efficient and timely manner

4. Observe and report any potential malfunctions or disruptions of plant activities

5. Observe and report sub-standard service level of contracted manpower and equipment

6. Must maintain current applicable licenses with regard to operating equipment

Other Job Responsibilities:

1. Employees in this job classification must attend and participate in corporation sponsored training courses as assigned.

2. Employees in this job classification are responsible for keeping up to date on current technology, as job appropriate, being used by Waste Pro USA.

3. Any additional job duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor.
