Material Sorter

We are seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our team as a material sorter. As a sorter, you'll assist with sorting recyclable materials to ensure proper disposal and recycling procedures are followed.

Location: Shakopee, MN Wage: $19.76 - $20.24/hr. Hours: First shift: 6:30 am – 3 pm, Monday – Friday OR Second shift: 3:30 pm – 12 am, Monday – Friday

Responsibilities of the material sorter:

• Sort recyclables from waste materials.
• Ensure proper segregation of items based on recycling guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Assist with additional recycling tasks as needed.

Requirements of the material sorter:

• Ability to work on an as-needed basis, with flexible hours.
• Physical stamina to handle manual tasks.
• Attention to detail and commitment to recycling standards.
• Previous experience in recycling or waste management is a plus, but not required.
• Willingness to work in a cold and dusty environment.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and wear safety boots
• Reliable transportation to commute to and from the workplace
