Full-time custodians perform manual work in the cleaning and general maintenance of buildings and grounds areas. Duties include regular clean-up such as sweeping, vacuuming, waxing, scrubbing, polishing floors; washing windows, dusting, cleaning chalkboards, moving furniture, emptying trash, etc. Other duties include minor repair and maintenance with maintenance supervisor's approval. Additional duties will be assigned.

Good physical condition because the work requires considerable activity such as lifting, climbing, walking, pushing, pulling, stooping, crawling, etc.

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Previous custodial experience preferable. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Internal: In-District Application. Internal applicants will be considered in accordance with District Policy GCK.

External: Current application and resume (Background Check requirement for external applicants). Copy of High School Diploma or GED equivalent (College Coursework desirable). Two (2) current letters of recommendation.
