Receptionist / Front Desk Staff

Fremont Counseling Service is seeking a full-time Receptionist / Front Desk Staff in our Riverton, Wyoming location.

Office hours are Monday through Friday 8a-5p, however, covering during absences in the Lander office will periodically be required.

Fremont Counseling Service is a small team of dedicated individuals that have a passion for helping others. Our organization is a CARF accredited, private, non-profit, outpatient, community mental health and substance use disorder treatment center that has been serving Fremont County since 1959.

This position is responsible providing a welcoming environment to clients, visitors, and staff and for tasks such as scheduling/rescheduling appointments by phone or in person; checking clients in/out for appointments, scheduling appointments, making appointment reminder calls; sending paperwork by email to prospective clients; managing client documents and charts, filing (paper and electronic); accommodating visitors; answering general informational questions; providing clerical support to service staff, and other duties when requested or assigned.

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workplace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Chrome)
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to master tasks required in electronic health record
  • Able to use basic business equipment (computer, printer, fax machine, copier, scanner, etc.)
  • Must be proficient working with laptop and desktop computers.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years customer service and/or front desk experience, preferably in a medical office setting.

Compensation: $33,176 - $35,266 annually, plus benefits based on qualifications and experience.
