Stockroom Manager
Attendance is an essential function of this position. Maintain stockroom in a neat and organized fashion. Ensures the integrity of the inventory management system. Picks up, stores, and delivers supplies and/or materials. Responsible for the staging of parts required for scheduled work. Initiate purchase order requests to maintain optimal stocks as directed by min/max levels using the computerized maintenance management system. Fulfill parts requests pulling from stock as appropriate and special order of parts as needed. Maintain stockroom records; this includes documenting receipts, issues, quantities on hand and quantities on order through the Maximo system. Request price quotes within Ocean Spray guidelines. May be required to perform cycle counts of stockroom on a regular basis. Interact with vendors as needed. Inspection of incoming materials and resolution of quality defects and quantity discrepancies with appropriate parties. Maintain security of the stockroom and materials stored within it. Maintain good GMP's in the outside storage areas. Analyze parts usage and supply trends to maximize efficiency. Identify stocking requirements and obsolete parts, reorder parts, recommended inventory parts for new assets, etc. Participate in team process and maintain good customer, supplier, and employee relationships. Perform all work in accordance with GMP's, housekeeping, good safety practices, and environmental regulations. Assist other mechanics and electricians as required, but not performing Maintenance Tasks.
