Grain Tester

Job Description:
Title: Grain Tester
Location: Easton, PA
Shift: 2AM-12PM / 12PM-8PM
Duration: 0-2 Month
Pay: $22.00/Hour

Job Duties:

• Receive wheat shipments
• Collect grain samples throughout the day
• Perform wheat grading and quality testing
• Operate grain grading laboratory equipment
• Run routine grain and wheat tests
• Enter testing data into computer systems
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and documentation
• Hand off required paperwork to truck drivers
• Maintain accurate data reporting
• Follow sanitation and quality control procedures
• Perform safety audits and maintain safety standards
• Communicate with lab staff, mill teams, maintenance, customers, and visitors
• Work rotating shifts, including harvest season, weekends, and holidays when required
• Stand for extended periods (full shifts)
• Support flour manufacturing through raw wheat analysis

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant laboratory, grain, or agricultural experience
• Ability to learn all phases of grain grading
• Experience operating grain grading and lab equipment preferred
• Basic computer skills (data entry, spreadsheets, reporting)
• Ability to read, write, understand instructions, and perform basic math
• Strong communication skills in English
• Ability to work effectively with team members
• Must be physically able to stand for 8+ hours daily
• Reliable transportation required
• No wheat or dust allergies
• Ability to maintain high standards for quality, sanitation, and safety
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, seven days/week during harvest season
• Onsite availability (100% onsite role)
