In the role of Maintenance Lead – Utilities, you will be part of the Utilities Operations team, supporting brewery operations across North America. You will serve as the maintenance systems owner for the Utilities Department, with 24 hour accountability for maintenance planning, scheduling, and system reliability. You will drive the elimination of breakdown related losses while building maintenance capability to deliver results aligned to our Compelling Business Need. This position reports to the Unit Manager – Utilities and works closely with the Utilities Line Lead, hourly maintenance colleagues, third party service providers, and cross functional partners to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable operations.

Most importantly, you will lead a team of 5 to 10 employees, supporting their growth and development through coaching, day to day direction, and consistent performance conversations. In addition, you will:

  • Own the Maintenance Planning and Scheduling system, utilizing SAP to ensure effective planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance activities that support continuous brewery operations
  • Lead breakdown elimination efforts by performing root cause analysis and driving corrective actions to eliminate recurring failures and reliability losses
  • Develop and manage the parts inventory and third party services budget, including researching, procuring, and ordering parts required for planned maintenance activities
  • Support loss elimination and performance routines, including Daily Direction Setting, 90 Day plans, and the annual maintenance plan
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulatory requirements

Key Ingredients:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Plant Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience of 4 or more years in utility or maintenance operations
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in large facility utilities operations, including regulatory compliance
  • Experience owning and working within a maintenance planning system, SAP preferred
  • Skilled in root cause analysis and applying reliability and Continuous Improvement principles such as Reliability Centered Maintenance and Lean Manufacturing
  • Strong accountability for results, acting with integrity while honoring commitments and safety standards
  • Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across teams
