Warehouse Inventory Coordinator

Coordinate and control inventory movement and accuracy in the warehouse physically as well as in the warehouse management system. Responsible for ensuring that all product transactions are accurate and accountable. Assist in all Shipping and Receiving responsibilities when needed; load, unload, pick and pack orders accurately. Receive, store and distribute material, tools, equipment and products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Be familiar with the inventory for all product lines stored at assigned warehouses
  • Verify product received for identification and quantity.
  • Assign specific locations for product to be stored in the warehouse to assure FIFO requirements are met.
  • Coordinate data input of orders to facilitate customer service and issue pick list to designated warehouse picker.
  • Adjust warehouse management system accordingly.
  • Verify product picked against pick list (i.e. part number and quantity) to ensure accuracy prior to packing or moving to Assembly Department.
  • Update product transactions to ensure inventory accuracy, physical versus warehouse management system.
  • Control the non-conformance inventory and coordinate with CSIP for return or disposal of non-conformance materials.
  • Coordinate all daily cycle and wall to wall inventory count activities.
  • Assist in research and problem solving of inventory discrepancies.

Physical Demands

  • Frequently lift, carry, and move materials or products.
  • Prolonged standing (often 8–12 hours per shift).
  • Frequent walking throughout the warehouse, including climbing stairs or ladders.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Move carts, pallet jacks, or materials requiring push/pull strength.
  • Scanning, labeling, packing, or assembling.
  • Operating warehouse equipment as required.
  • Frequent use of hands, wrists, and arms for tasks like:

Skills and Abilities Required

  • Must have a strong knowledge of standard Warehouse procedures/inventory control systems.
  • Intermediate to strong level of computer skills including working knowledge of MS Excel
  • Work experience in ISO/TL 9000 certified operations.
  • The employee must be capable to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and count in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Education and Experience Required

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 4+ years of experience in a warehouse inventory control capacity.
  • Current Fork lift Certification.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Trained in safety of lifting, handling, and transporting of materials with various shape, size and weight.

Work Environment:

  • Non-temperature controlled warehouse; exposure to seasonal heat and cold.
  • Schedule:

    • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
    • 12-hour rotating shift (2-2-3 schedule)
    • Work pattern: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on (alternating weekly)
    • Includes weekend rotation
