Job Position: Material Handler

Location: Justin, TX

Pay Rate: $16.50

Shift: 9am to 5:30pm

Description:

Stride Staffing has partnered with a telecommunications provider in Justin, TX. We are URGENTLY hiring Material Handlers to join our client's team. Employees are responsible for performing various tasks within a warehouse or distribution center, including picking, packing, palletizing, and stacking product. A down stacker plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of warehouse processes. All candidates are required to take a drug test at a lab and able to pass a criminal background check.*This is a resume driven position only candidates that provide a resume will be reviewed for consideration.

MUST HAVES:

• Picking and Packing: Accurately pick products from inventory based on customer orders and pack them securely for shipment. Ensure that all packing slips and labels are correct.
• Shipping: Prepare and process shipments according to company standards, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
• Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects and report any issues to management. Maintain the quality of products stored in the warehouse.
• Team Collaboration: Work as part of a team to achieve daily and weekly goals, ensuring timely processing of orders and inventory management.
• Use RF Scanner
• Attention to detail
• Remove finished products from conveyor belts or production machines
• Ensure proper labeling and placement of stacked materials
• Be able to stand for 8+ hours

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Native to the Justin/ Roanoke area is a HUGE plus.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus
• Basic math skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods.
• Pass a criminal background check, drug test and E-Verify
• Have reliable transportation
• Able to work in non-climate-controlled environment
