Description

Overview/Function: The Automated Warehouse Material Handler – SAW Lane is responsible for the fulfillment of customer orders by retrieving and stacking specific lower volume products and quantities as specified on the pick ticket/computer screen assigned on a pre-determined conveyor, in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner. This role is expected to maintain the highest expectations for safety, accuracy, and/or efficiency. This position may also be responsible for building stable pallets of product in preparation for delivery.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Assist and facilitate in case picking and sorting within the automated environment using computer monitor and complex conveyor machines while adhering to all established Atlantic Bottling safety procedures and policies
  • Dependably collaborate within a team environment to efficiently follow all warehouse processes.
  • Adapt to needs of the role and maintain working knowledge in different work areas throughout the workday including, but not limited to, HQS and Hand Stack.
  • Assist in daily housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse, including keeping the work area free of trash and debris, as well as cleaning any type of spillage while following all waste removal and recycling protocols.
  • Organize empty pallets by pallet type and neatly stacking them in the pallet return area.
  • When applicable, safely distribute put back cases to the same sku pallet which they came from in the Vertique processing area.
  • Work safely, accurately, and efficiently to control warehouse inventory and to keep shrink at an acceptable level.
