Warehouse Associate w/CDL

East Jordan Plastics, Inc. is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate at our Lyons, GA facility. The successful candidate will work in a face-paced environment. The use of forklifts for moving materials, wrapping and tagging products, and taking inventory are just a few of the tasks associated with this role. In addition to the movement of trailers and material from a bulk-matic tanker and a 53' dry van.

Responsibilities:

• Safe operation of Forklift trucks including daily use inspections.
• Demonstrated track record of safe operation of equipment.
• Computerized inventory management systems (ERP such as EPICOR or other)
• Fully familiar with Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, etc. Fluent in the use of Excel spreadsheets.
• Sound basic mathematic skills for taking of inventory and calculation of production status.
• Experience completing minor maintenance tasks on dock equipment, doors, etc.
• Ensure all equipment is properly set up and used safely and that all safety devices are in use.

Skills and Abilities

• Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse/parcel shipping
• Minimum 2 years CDL experience, preferred with bulk-matic tanker
• Must have strong math and troubleshooting proficiency and basic computer skills.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Microsoft Office Suite experience
• ERP experience
• Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.
