Assembly/Machine Operator

Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking an Assembly/Machine Operator to join their team. As an Assembly/Machine Operator, you will be part of the Fabrication Support department supporting production and assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, physical stamina, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Roebuck, SC

Pay Range: $21.00

Shift: 2nd Shift, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What's the Job?

• Assist in the assembly and fabrication of electrical components and systems
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, gripping, and carrying materials
• Use hand tools and grinders to smooth edges and prepare parts for assembly
• Support testing and inspection of wiring installations and assemblies
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

What's Needed?

• Ability to walk ¼ mile within 7 minutes and lift up to 40 lbs
• Physical endurance to sustain kneeling, standing, and repetitive tasks for up to 30 minutes
• Experience in wiring inspection, assembly, or related manufacturing tasks (6 months to 18 months preferred)
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and work orders
• Pass the Essential Functional Testing (EFT) at SRHS
