Job Summary:

This position performs a variety of administrative,technical and professional duties related to current land use planning, zoningand building activities. In addition, this position performs a variety of workassignments involving research, data assimilation, code amendments, developmentanalysis, mapping, graphics, documentation, and recordkeeping.

Qualifications/Education Requirements:

1. Graduation witha Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university with a degree inland-use planning, urban planning, architecture or a closely related field.

2. Experience related toplanning, zoning, land use regulations, public administration, or closelyrelated field is beneficial.

3. Valid Colorado Driverlicense.

Upcoming Projects:

Upcoming planning projects include topic specificupdates to the recently adopted Unified Development Code (e.g., landscapingstandards, architectural design guidelines, parking standards, and possible'dark-sky' lighting standards) and we will soon begin a sub-area plan for thedowntown area. The department also continues to implement a new permit trackingsystem.
