Landscape Logistics & Field Support Driver
Status: Full-Time Schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately 7:00 AM-3:00 PM Occasional overtime or Saturday work as needed.
Compensation: $20-$23 per hour DOE
Reports To: Division Managers
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Landscape Logistics & Field Support Driver to support both our construction and maintenance divisions.
This position is responsible for transporting materials, tools, plants, and supplies between job sites, vendors, and our yard while also assisting with loading, unloading, staging, organization, and general operational support tasks.
This is a fast-paced role that helps keep field crews productive and on schedule. The ideal candidate is comfortable driving larger trucks, towing trailers, working outdoors, staying organized, and adapting to changing priorities throughout the day.
This position is a great opportunity for someone interested in entering the landscape or construction industry while gaining exposure to multiple areas of operations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company trucks and trailers
- Drive Ford Super Duty trucks while towing open utility and dump trailers
- Transport plants, materials, tools, and supplies between vendors, yard locations, and job sites
- Load, unload, and stage materials for construction and maintenance crews
- Perform material pickups, supplier runs, and dump runs throughout the day
- Assist with yard organization, trailer organization, and material staging
- Secure loads properly and maintain safe driving practices at all times
- Conduct basic vehicle and trailer inspections including lights, tires, fluids, and trailer connections
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles, trailers, and yard areas
- Communicate effectively with managers and foremen regarding schedules, deliveries, and changing priorities
- Support both maintenance and construction divisions as operational needs change
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Comfortable driving full-size trucks, including Ford Super Duty trucks
- Confident towing and maneuvering trailers in residential and tight-access environments
- Ability to safely back trailers into confined spaces
- Candidates will be required to complete a practical driving and trailer backing assessment
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the day
- Comfortable working outdoors in Arizona heat and weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to stay organized and work independently
- Professional attitude and team-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in landscaping, construction, delivery, or related field
- Experience towing dump trailers or utility trailers
- Forklift experience
- Basic knowledge of landscape materials and tools
- Experience working in fast-paced service or construction environments
