About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Android Mobile Engineer to drive the development of high-quality mobile applications and lead a small, high-performing team (3–4 engineers). This individual will play a key role in shaping our mobile strategy, contributing hands-on to development, and mentoring engineers to deliver scalable, user-friendly solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 3–4 mobile engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment
• Architect, design, and develop advanced Android applications using Kotlin
• Provide technical guidance and establish best practices, code reviews, and development standards
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and backend teams
• Drive mobile architecture decisions, ensuring scalability and performance
• Contribute to both Android and cross-platform/mobile ecosystem considerations
• Stay up to date with emerging mobile technologies and trends

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of mobile development experience, with a strong focus on Android
• Proven experience in a technical leadership or team lead role
• Expertise in:
• Kotlin & Java
• Android Studio
• Jetpack Compose
• MVVM architecture
• Dependency Injection frameworks (e.g., Dagger/Hilt)
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns
• Experience leading development efforts and delivering production-ready applications
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with iOS development technologies, including:
• Swift / SwiftUI
• Objective-C
• Xcode
• Cross-platform or multi-platform development experience
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and mobile release processes
