Senior Microsoft Purview Engineer

🚀 Hiring: Senior Microsoft Purview Engineer (Bay Area)

We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Microsoft Purview Engineer to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale data protection and governance solutions across Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.

🔍 What you’ll be doing:

• Architect and implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Information Protection strategies

• Design and manage sensitivity labeling, auto-classification, and encryption policies

• Build and optimize data governance frameworks using Microsoft Purview

• Develop automation using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API

• Integrate Purview with security tools like Defender and Sentinel

• Partner with security, compliance, and legal teams on regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX)

🧠 What we’re looking for:

• 10+ years in security, data governance, or M365/Azure environments

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview (DLP, labeling, eDiscovery)

• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation

• Solid understanding of compliance and data protection frameworks

• Background in enterprise environments (finance, healthcare, tech preferred)

📍 Location: Bay Area (local candidates preferred)
