Financial Services Position

Definition/Basic Function: Under the direction of the Director of Finance and Operations and the Fiscal Services Supervisor, the position performs duties of a financial nature. These activities include: student body and cafeteria accounting; purchase order production and audit; payroll production; fringe benefit billing processing and audit; state, federal and local financial report preparation; financial clerical and typing duties; bank reconciliation processing; invoice processing and other duties as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications: Four (4) years of college or equivalent Knowledge of: Office procedures, methods, equipment, computers and accounting; Basic auditing, bookkeeping and financial procedures; English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation; Type at least 45 words per minute; Operate calculators and computers; Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
