Description

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set up and operate manual or CNC metal spinning lathes according to job specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine tooling requirements and process steps.
  • Spin and form metal blanks into finished components using hand tools, rollers, and forming tools.
  • Monitor spinning operations to ensure consistent quality and accuracy.
  • Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of spinning equipment.
  • Make adjustments to machines and tools as needed to maintain part specifications.
  • Work with a variety of metals such as aluminum, stainless steel, brass, and copper.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Document production data and report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
  • Assist the supervisor with special projects.
  • Display willingness to assist and train others when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent required.
  • 3 years of manufacturing experience required, 5 years experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in metal spinning or related metal forming processes preferred.
