Position Overview
As an Environmental Commercial Operator (Class A), you will play a vital role in supporting our environmental services and field operations. This position involves much more than driving-you will operate a range of commercial vehicles and work hands-on with crews in diverse tasks such as emergency spill response, industrial cleaning, waste hauling, and site remediation. The role requires flexibility, attention to safety, and a strong work ethic. Qualified candidates receive thorough training and opportunities for overtime in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Position Highlights
- Overtime opportunities on a week-to-week basis
- Monday - Friday schedule with occasional weekend assignments
- Comprehensive training for qualified applicants
- Local routes (occasional overnight stays may be required)
Essential Functions
- Operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including vacuum trucks (liquid & air mover), roll-off trucks, tractors, tankers, and dump trucks
- Work hands-on alongside environmental crews on emergency spill response, industrial cleaning, waste hauling, field services, and site remediation
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections, reporting any issues or mechanical failures
- Represent our brand professionally with clients and the public
- Follow all DOT and company regulations and policies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL required with a 3-year motor vehicle record
- Tanker & HazMat endorsements required
- Available for on-call assignments
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Current DOT Medical Card required
- Must pass background check and drug test
- Experience with hazardous waste and heavy equipment operation preferred (OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus)
- Prior experience in environmental services is ideal

Pay
- $26.50 - $27.50 / hr.
