Job Summary:

The Housekeeper/Laundry Aide is responsible for performing all functions necessary to maintain a clean, homelike environment in the Facility, and laundering Resident clothing and Facility linens and other items.

Description:

Under the supervision of the Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor the Housekeeper/Laundry Aide is responsible for day-to-day and deep cleaning activities and laundry throughout the Facility, in accordance with State & Federal regulations and Facility policy/procedures. Housekeeping/Laundry Aides may be assigned solely to Housekeeping tasks, Laundry tasks or a combination. The Housekeeper/Laundry Aide participates in the scheduled supervision of Resident smoke breaks.

Qualifications:

• Less than high school education or up to one (1) month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education & experience;
• Satisfactory OIG exclusions and background check;
• Satisfactory personal & professional references.

• Successfully complete a drug screening
• Must have received, or be willing to receive, the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire. Proof of vaccination or exemption is required
