Our client, a leading organization in the records management and logistics industry, is seeking a Record Center Specialist 1 to join their team. As a Record Center Specialist 1, you will be part of the operations support team, ensuring efficient handling and processing of storage materials. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, physical stamina, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Record Center Specialist 1

Location: Port Allen, LA

Pay Range:

Shift: Other (08:00:AM - 06:00:PM)

What's the Job?

  • Process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials

  • Manually lift, carry, and load storage boxes ranging from 10 to over 100 pounds

  • Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely

  • Track and manage inventory using proprietary computer systems

  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks and organizing storage areas

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical or warehouse environment

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes regularly without assistance

  • Strong physical stamina and attention to safety procedures

  • Good reading and writing skills in English

  • Willingness to work in a physically demanding role
