A well-respected fine jewelry manufacturer is seeking a versatile Bench Jeweler to join their growing production team. This role involves various aspects of jewelry craftsmanship, including casting, stone setting, wax work, soldering, assembly, and polishing, with a focus on precision and quality. Key Responsibilities

Jewelry Production

  • Handle various aspects of bench work, including casting, wax work, and stone setting (pavĂ©, channel, bezel, prong), ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.
  • Apply precision and efficiency in soldering, assembly, and polishing to maintain production standards.
  • Focus exclusively on new jewelry manufacturing, rather than repair work.

Quality & Craftsmanship

  • Maintain high quality control standards to ensure exquisite craftsmanship.
  • Work with a variety of metals and gemstones, applying expert techniques.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Participate in cross-training to enhance adaptability and efficiency across different jewelry-making techniques.
  • Contribute to a team-oriented, professional environment with a shared commitment to excellence.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and techniques, continuously refining and expanding skill sets.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS

Technical Expertise & Craftsmanship

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Bench Jeweler, with hands-on expertise in soldering, assembly, casting, wax work, and polishing, as well as proficiency in working with precious metals, gemstones, and various bench techniques.
  • Familiarity with stone setting is beneficial, with a willingness to develop and refine skills in this area. Knowledge of bright cutting and bead setting is preferred, with additional expertise considered a plus.

Education & Training

  • Formal training or certification from an accredited jeweler program (e.g., GIA) or equivalent practical experience in a professional setting is preferred.

  • Location: Onsite in Minneapolis, MN.
  • Facility: Work in a state-of-the-art environment featuring microscope-equipped benches and advanced tools designed for precision and efficiency.

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
